Bringing the Community Together

2021 Virtual National Migrant Education Conference

May 3 to 6, 2021

"Bringing the Community Together"

Thanks to the more than 1,100 attendees who brought the community together for 42 workshops, 3 general sessions, great interaction, and a lot of excellent professional development.  It was wonderful to get back together, if only virtually.

We hope you were both moved and inspired by all the scholarship winners and by the brilliant former migrant students who opened and closed the Conference.

Thanks to all the many workshop presenters, our vendors and sponsors, and to all of you who helped make this a terrific conference.

For the Video Library of all Conference general sessions and workshops (available to those with paid registrations), please go to Sign in using the email address you used to attend the Conference.   You may watch as many of these sessions as you wish and as many times as you wish.   The Video Library will be available until August 11.

2022 National Migrant Education Conference

Thursday, April 7 to Sunday, April 10, 2022

In Person -- San Antonio, Texas

Everyone is invited to join together as a community, in person, for the first time in three years, on the Riverwalk, in beautiful, historic San Antonio -- the city that always brings a smile to the faces of migrant educators!  As you know, this is the premier professional development event for the Migrant Education Program community with 175 workshops, 3 general sessions, and lots of interaction for interstate coordination -- a key element for the Migrant Education Program.  After hours, enjoy the wonderful food, the exciting Riverwalk, and many other sights and sounds of this great city.

Mark your calendars!

Conference registration will open this fall and our hotel block will open in late January 2022.
