Bringing the Community Together

Migrant Educators,

We hope you and yours are doing well. We have the welfare of migratory families and students always on our mind in this difficult time.

As many of you know, after the unfortunate but necessary cancellation of the 2020 National Migrant Education Conference in Albuquerque, NASDME stepped into the gap and continued to provide cutting-edge, high-quality professional development through its webinar series for those registered for the National Conference.

For 2021, NASDME has decided to act boldly! Though an in-person Conference again must be deferred, NASDME is very excited to announce

THE 2021 VIRTUAL NATIONAL MIGRANT EDUCATION CONFERENCE

Featured will be three days of high-quality professional development workshops on a wide variety of topics of importance to all who work in Migrant Education. We are also planning exciting general sessions, some wonderful entertainment, and the enormously popular scholarship presentations to worthy migratory students, among other conference events.

We look forward to offering you the same energy, excitement, and superior educational experience of past in-person conferences. There might even be surprise appearances by some special guests who support the Migrant Education Program.

The 2021 National Conference will be held in the late spring when we usually have our in-person event. We will announce the exact dates and more details very soon.

We can't wait to bring the nation’s Migrant Education community together to energize, inspire, and provide the opportunity for significant professional development to benefit migratory students and families nationwide.
