NATIONAL MIGRANT EDUCATION CONFERENCE

We know you have all been waiting for this!

We are delighted to announce the dates for for the 2021 Virtual National Migrant Education Conference

 May 3 to 6, 2021

Join us for the premier national professional development conference for the entire Migrant Ed community!

As with our in person Conferences, we plan to have three exciting General Sessions (including an important DC Update). With a new Administration and new Congress, there are many important policy changes happening in education, public benefits, immigration, and other areas, which you will want to learn more about.

There will be as many as 40 workshops, including sessions of interest to all who work in Migrant Education. We will have presenters who are experts, from within the migrant education community, as well as from outside our community.  There will also be sessions specifically devoted to the impact of Covid on migratory students and families.

And, of course, a highlight of every National Conference, we will be presenting migrant student scholarships, as well as showcasing student performances. We may also spring a few surprises!

Also, we will be maintaining a video library of all sessions, so if you missed seeing sessions or there are several sessions in a time slot that you want to see, you can see those sessions in the video library. That will be included in the registration fee.

We hope to replicate the feeling of community that we always enjoy so much when we are together, at the same time offering cutting edge high-quality workshops and general sessions. We want to educate and inspire, review the basics, as well as provide fresh and stimulating perspectives.

The registration fee for the Conference, including the video library, is $350. We hope that without the need to pay for travel, we will be able to welcome many who are not able to join us in person.
